Cecil Roades McDonald 
Cecil Roades was born in 1895 in Harwood, Gonzales Co., Texas.1 Cecil Roades' father was Albert Lewis McDonald and his mother was Martha Belle Tumlinson. His maternal grandparents were James Stephen Tumlinson and Elizabeth Wright. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John Floyd, Earnest Douglas, Olin Mae, Jessie Lee, Callie Ophelia, Violia Australia, Mildred Irene and Annice Lois. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 in 1977 in Bastrop, Bastrop Co., Texas.1 General Notes
