George W. was born in Labooda, Franklin Co., Missouri.1 George W.'s father was William Mahanay and his mother was Susannah Morgan. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin, Jr. Mahaney and Clarissa Lynch. He had a brother named Benjamin Lynch. He died on June 4th, 1915 in Missouri.
