Lauchlin Wellington,Jr. was born on August 28th, 1911.1 Lauchlin Wellington,Jr.'s father was Lauchin Wellington MacKinnon and his mother was Marie Katherine Currie. His maternal grandparents were William Jackson Currie and Katherine Ellen Smith. He had two sisters named Katherine McLaurin and Margaret Graham. He was the youngest of the three children.
