William Jackson Currie 
William Jackson was born on April 13th, 1846 in Robeson Co., North Carolina.1 William Jackson's father was John Calvin Currie and his mother was Margaret Keahey. His maternal grandfather was John Keahey and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Patterson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Archibald Keahey, Angus Dodridge, John Calvin, James Burder, Newton Bethune, Elizabeth Caroline, Flora Ann, Mary Jane, Isabella Amanda and Margaret Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 on March 16th, 1929 in Maxton, North Carolina.1 General Notes
