Flora Ann was born in 1841.1 Flora Ann's father was John Calvin Currie and her mother was Margaret Keahey. Her maternal grandfather was John Keahey and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Patterson. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Archibald Keahey, William Jackson, Angus Dodridge, John Calvin, James Burder, Newton Bethune, Elizabeth Caroline, Mary Jane, Isabella Amanda and Margaret Jane.
