Clyde Lawrence was born on May 30th, 1919 in Louisville Jefferson Co., Kentucky.1 Clyde Lawrence's father was William Purd Leasor and his mother was Pearl LeGrand. His paternal grandparents are William Leasor and Elizabeth Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Richard Bassett LeGrand and Mary Jane McAnnelly. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Edward M., Wilbur, Clifford Kaywood, James Howard, Raymond, Clinton, Living, Geneva 'Jack' and Helen Jeanette.
