Proctor Paul Knott 
Proctor Paul was born on February 5th, 1899.1 Proctor Paul's father was Frederick Martin Knott and his mother was Sarah Jane (Jennie) Payne. His paternal grandparents were Raphael (Ralph) Knott and Abigail Basham; his maternal grandparents are William Henry Payne and Mary Ann Mattingly. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Hilary O., William Henry, James M., Ellen McDellan, Ethel McDellan, Margaret, Mary Ethyl and Alma. He is the youngest of the nine children.-
