Ernest Keahey

Ernest was born in 1914 in Denton, Texas.¹ Ernest's father was Henry Alexander Keahey and his mother was Claudia Mickey Long. His paternal grandparents were Elijah John,Jr. Keahey and Margaret Ophelia Hamilton. He had a brother and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Roy Taylor, Lora, Lola Lee, Jesse Kye, Lila Mae, Ernestine and Unknown.
