Matilda Havard

Matilda was born about 1844 in Mississippi.¹   Matilda's father was Henry, Sr. Havard and her mother was Tinsey C. Dinney.  Her paternal grandparents are Charles Havard and Jane Williams; her maternal grandparents were Walter Denny and Walter's Wife Unknown. She had five brothers and a sister, named Jeremiah (Sank), John W., Henry Harris, Alexander Singleton (Dunk), David W. and Elizabeth.  She is the fourth oldest of the seven children. She had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Norman T., Charly Harrison, Sank Willis, Arthur B., Clide, Ader, Ider, Carie Stella, Nancy Caroline and Celie.
