Alexander Singleton (Dunk) Havard

Alexander Singleton (Dunk) was born on May 11th, 1850 in Mississippi.¹   Alexander Singleton (Dunk)'s father was Henry, Sr. Havard and his mother was Tinsey C. Dinney.  His paternal grandparents are Charles Havard and Jane Williams; his maternal grandparents were Walter Denny and Walter's Wife Unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jeremiah (Sank), John W., Henry Harris, David W., Elizabeth and Matilda.  He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, Norman T., Charly Harrison, Sank Willis, Arthur B., Clide, Ader, Ider, Carie Stella, Nancy Caroline and Celie.  He died at the age of 73 on April 20th, 1924.¹
