Joseph Grigsby 
Joseph was born on September 24th, 1771 in Louisa, VA.1 Joseph's father was Nathaniel Grigsby and his mother was Elizabeth Bulter. His paternal grandparents were James Grigsby and Susannah Redmond. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Pierce Butler, Nathaniel,Jr., William Butler, John B., Mark, Enoch, Susannah, Anne and Elizabeth. He had three half-brothers named Mark, Enoch and Linton. He died at the age of 69 on August 13th, 1841 in Jefferson, TX.1 General Notes
