James Grigsby 
James was born in 1753.1 James' father was Nathaniel Grigsby and his mother was Elizabeth Bulter. His paternal grandparents were James Grigsby and Susannah Redmond. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Pierce Butler, Nathaniel,Jr., William Butler, John B., Joseph, Mark, Enoch, Susannah, Anne and Elizabeth. He had three half-brothers named Mark, Enoch and Linton. He died at the age of 44 on June 19th, 1797.1 General Notes
