Washington Griffin

Washington was born on May 11th, 1812 in South Carolina.¹   Washington's father was David Griffin and his mother is Sarah Unknown. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Culverson, Anthony, Bluford, James, Albert, David, George, Elizabeth Ann, Michel Susan, Catherine, Jane, Peggy and Rebecca.  He died at the age of 56 on November 30th, 1868 in Giles Co., Tennessee.¹ 

‌Washington and Mary Jane were married in a religious ceremony on June 24th, 1851 in Lawrence Co., Tennessee.¹   They had two sons and two daughters, named Samuel, Eugene, Roena and Barbara Ellen.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Jarret L., Isaac C. and Caroline Matilda.
