Barbara Ellen Griffin

Barbara Ellen was born on June 13th, 1861.¹   Barbara Ellen's father was Washington Griffin and her mother was Mary Jane Sheppard.  Her paternal grandfather was David Griffin and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Unknown. She had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Eugene and Roena.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jarret L., Isaac C., Drury Washington, James W. Shepherd (Ship), Caroline Matilda and Nancy Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 52 on May 14th, 1914.¹ 

They had two sons named William Arch and James Dallas, Sr..
