George Henderson Gosnell 
George Henderson was born on April 26th, 1858 in Madison Co., North Carolina.1 George Henderson's father is Wiley Gosnell and his mother was Margaret Elizabeth Sams. His maternal grandparents were Gabriel C. Sams and Mary Polly Hampton. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Milford Wade, Wiley Sylvester, Robert Bartley, William Rollins Dudley, Polly Dudley and Jeanetta Dudley. He was the oldest of the seven children.
