Callie was born on October 27th, 1887 in Madison Co., North Carolina.1 Callie's father was Milford Wade Gosnell and her mother is Easter M. Fisher. Her paternal grandfather is Wiley Gosnell and her paternal grandmother was Margaret Elizabeth Sams. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William H., Frank R., James Lawson, Coy E., John Devitus, Victoria, Mada, Nell and Ada. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 77 on May 24th, 1965 in Madison Co., North Carolina. She was buried in Gosnell Cemetery, Madison Co., North Carolina.1 1 General Notes
