Archibald Alexander Gillis

Archibald Alexander was born on January 20th, 1869 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.¹ Archibald Alexander's father is John Alexander Gillis and his mother is Catherine Jane Blue. His paternal grandfather was Roderick D. Gillis and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Mary Graham. He has four sisters named Margaret Eliza, Sarah, Mary Alice and Annie Jane. He is the oldest of the five children.
