John Irwin Giles 
John Irwin was born on October 28th, 1884.1 John Irwin's father was Joseph Milton Giles and his mother was Margaret Clementine McCowen. His paternal grandparents were Milton Giles and Mary Ladd Majors; his maternal grandfather is James F. McCowen and his maternal grandmother was Elizabeth Manly. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named James Milton, Noble M., Mary Elizabeth, Laudie Eldora, Henry Francis, Joe Annie, Rosie Lynn, Lula May and Lillian Janice. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died in Corpus Christi.1 General Notes

John Irwin and Beulah were married in a religious ceremony on October 20th, 1907.1 They had eleven daughters named E. H. Eddy, E.H. Eichblatt, George L. White, H.G. Gore, L. L. Grissom, L. L. Ware, Malcolm Moore, Matty Jo, Mrs.C.M. Chick, P.W. McKenzie and Ruth Holbrook.
