Henry Francis was born on August 23rd, 1874 in Tennesse.1 Henry Francis' father was Joseph Milton Giles and her mother was Margaret Clementine McCowen. Her paternal grandparents were Milton Giles and Mary Ladd Majors; her maternal grandfather is James F. McCowen and her maternal grandmother was Elizabeth Manly. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James Milton, Noble M., John Irwin, Mary Elizabeth, Laudie Eldora, Joe Annie, Rosie Lynn, Lula May and Lillian Janice. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 64 on July 10th, 1939 in McAlester, Pittsburg Co. , Oklahoma.1 General Notes
