Caroline Gardner 
Caroline was born on June 15th, 1803.1 Caroline's father was Sterling, Sr. Gardner and her mother was Mary Polly Neal. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gardner and UNKNOWN Martha; her maternal grandparents were Thomas, Jr. Neal and Sarah Loyless. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Sterling, Jr., Fannie B., Susan and Mary Rose. She is the second oldest of the six children.-
