Vera Mae Dickey 
Vera Mae was born on December 2nd, 1895 in Stantonville, McNairy Co., Tennessee.1 Vera Mae's father was James B. Dickey and her mother was Frances (Frannie) Wilkes. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Wilkes and Mary Ann (Polly) Basham. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Arthur Andrew, Arles T., Cord L., Thomas Clyde, Hurshel Harvey, Nora M., Cora, Josephine and Pearl. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 91 in June 1987.1 General Notes
