James Marshall DeSpain

James Marshall was born in 1925 in Green Co., Kentucky.¹ James Marshall's father was Ivy Lee DeSpain and his mother is Ida Pearl Clark. His paternal grandparents were Marshall DeSpain and Alice G. Warren. He had a brother and three sisters, named Carl Eugene, Alta Lee, Mable Maxine and Beaulah Bernice. He is the second oldest of the five children.
