Ethel Omie was born on October 11th, 1911 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Ethel Omie's father was Robert DeSpain and her mother was Julia M. Warren. Her paternal grandfather was Joseph DeSpain and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Morrison; her maternal grandparents were John C. Warren and Celia Underwood. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Melvin Earl, Walter Howard, Carl, Stella B., Gracy E., Bessie A. and Anna. She had two half-sisters named Bessie and Stella. She died at the age of 22 on March 8th, 1934 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. She was buried in Otter Creek Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
