William Melton Day 
William Melton was born on October 18th, 1905.1 William Melton's father was Samuel James Day and his mother was Annie Elizabeth Keahey. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Bethune,Rev. Keahey and Sarah Eilzabeth Bishop. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Frank Ellis, Samuel James,Jr., George Eugene, Montie Iona, Sallie, Mary Hart and Mabel Elizabeth.
