Josephus Clayton Davidson 
Josephus Clayton was born on December 11th, 1819.1 Josephus Clayton's father was George Clayton Davidson and his mother is Mary Cook. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Davidson and Jane Henrietta Clayton. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas A., David Martin, Obadiah W., Lee and Henrietta. He died at the age of 63 on April 4th, 1883. He was buried in Bethlehem Cem., Elbridge, Obion Co., Tennessee.1 1 General Notes
