Carroll Swanson Chapman 
Carroll Swanson was born on October 20th, 1840.1 Carroll Swanson's father was Kimbrough Ogilvie Chapman and her mother was Sophrona 'Sophia' Davidson. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas B. Davidson and Sara Leeper Miller. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Monroe, James William, Napolean Jasper, Sarah Tennessee, Malinda Eleanor and Nancy Owen. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 83 on January 11th, 1924.1 General Notes
