James Blevins 
James was born on September 16th, 1882 in Higginsville, Lafayette Co., Missouri.1 James' father was James J. Blevins and his mother was Mary Jane Maher. His maternal grandparents were Patrick Maher and Mahala Basham. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Johnny W., Frank, Bird, Amanda, Caroline, Kate (Katherine), Bet and Becky. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 92 on January 29th, 1975 in Clinton, Henry Co., Missouri. He was buried on January 31st, 1975 in Higginsville City Cem., Missouri.1 1 -
