William D. Bassham 
William D. was born about November 1839 in Alabama.1 William D.'s father was Nathan Bassham and his mother was Cathrine Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Basham and Winna Jons. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Zedekiah, Allan, Nathan, Lucretia, Jane and Dorcas. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died after 1900.1 General Notes
