Julia Elizabeth was born on July 16th, 1871 in Crittendon Co., Kentucky.1 Julia Elizabeth's father was Martin L. Bassham and her mother was Alice Louisa Horton. Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Bassham and Rebecca Unknown. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William Alexander, Thomas R., Sarah Adaline, Mary J., Child, Ada and Rosa L.. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 61 in 1932.1 General Notes
