Vita Effie (Margery) was born on March 11th, 1896 in Rocky Comfort, McDonald Co., Mo.1 Vita Effie (Margery)'s father was Fountain Fletcher Basham and her mother is Louisa Angelina Howard. Her paternal grandparents were Pleasant (Rev) Basham and Matilda Miller. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William Preston, A. Noah (Jack), Vestal Lee (Willie), Lloyd, Jessy, Lillie Elena and Cora Edna. She died at the age of 71 on September 8th, 1967 in Norman, Cleveland Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
