Ruth May Basham 
Ruth May was born on March 16th, 1899 in Paydown, Missouri.1 Ruth May's father was William Sanford Basham and her mother was Eunice Ann Mahaney. Her paternal grandparents were Clayton 'Perry' Basham and Parthena Campbell; her maternal grandparents were George W. Mahaney and Mary Jane Estes. She had four sisters named Mayme, Blanch M., Clive Hall and Maple. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 90 on April 5th, 1989. She was buried in Liberty Cemetery, Belle, Missouri.1 1 General Notes
