Reece Calvin Basham 
Reece Calvin was born on April 1st, 1830 in Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 Reece Calvin's father was Jonathan Basham and his mother was Delilah Payne. His paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Basham and Francis Susanna Unknown; his maternal grandfather was James Payne and his maternal grandmother is Ruth Unknown. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Mahlon, Oliver, Joseph P., James Oliver, Sr., Mary Jane (Polly), Delilah Louise and Elizabeth Ellen. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 34 on April 4th, 1864 in Near Clarksville Arkansas.1 General Notes
