Nancy Jane Basham 
Nancy Jane was born about May 1850 in Floyd Co., Virginia.1 Nancy Jane's father was Robert Basham and her mother was Elizabeth Clowers. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Basham and Elender (Ellen) Ross. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John William, James L., Julia, Sarah E, Martha E and Lucy Byer. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died after 1870.1 General Notes
