Mark A. Basham 
Mark A. was born on February 10th, 1854 in Kentucky.1 Mark A.'s father was Benajah Anderson Basham and his mother was Nancy E. Turner. His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Basham and Rachel Mayberry; his maternal grandfather is Reubin Turner. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Samuel Green, Reuben Bartlett (Bartley), James, James Harrod, Henry, Henry W., Samuel 'Green', Obediah Mitchell (Obie), Margaret E. and Nancy Jane. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named Reuben 'Alfred'. He died about 1909 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
