James Harvey Basham 
James Harvey was born on July 24th, 1883 in Franklin Co., Virginia.1 James Harvey's father was Jonathan Reed Basham and his mother was Nancy Jane Jenkins. His paternal grandparents were Millender Basham and Chelnessee Payne. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Daniel Dave, Nathan Garfield, John William (Will), Charles Moman, Ezra Powell, Octavy F., Mary Alice, Nancy Jane (Ginnie) and Sallie B.. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 78 on June 20th, 1962 in Paris, Lamar Co., Texas Cemetery.1 General Notes
