George W. Basham 
George W. was born about November 1834 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 George W.'s father was James Herrod Basham and his mother was Polly Ann Arms. His paternal grandparents were Bartlett Basham and Rachel Mayberry; his maternal grandparents are Josiah Arms and Sarah McCoy. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Eli Houston, Bartlett, Benjamin Webb, Elijah Lemaster, James E., Barbara Elizabeth, Sarah Elizabeth, Rachael Margaret and Nancy Ann. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died after 1900.1 General Notes
