Stephen Elijah Basham 
Stephen Elijah was born on April 3rd, 1855 in Kentucky.1 Stephen Elijah's father was George W. Basham and his mother was Barbara A (Polly) Crutchelow. His paternal grandparents were James Herrod Basham and Polly Ann Arms. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John James, Sanford, William Logan, Amos D., Benjamin Webb, Thomas Ezra, George Huston, Parthenia, Millie Janey and Laura Ellen. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 54 on February 2nd, 1910 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
