Joseph Martin Barr Barr 
Joseph Martin Barr was born on February 2nd, 1897 in Browns Valley, Kentucky.1 Joseph Martin Barr's father was George Roland, Jr. Barr and his mother was Ellen McDellan Knott. His paternal grandparents are George Roland, Sr. Barr and Martha Hayden; his maternal grandparents were Frederick Martin Knott and Sarah Jane (Jennie) Payne. He had six brothers and six sisters, named William Garrett, Sr., George Roland III, Martin Raphael, Robert Aloysius, Charles Hilary, Denis Anthony, Genevieve, Martha Imogene, Mary Ethel, Mary Alma, Virginia "Jennie Mae" Mary and Theresa Margaret. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died on February 2nd, 1897 in Browns Valley, Kentucky. He was buried in St. Anthony's Catholic Cem., Browns Valley, Daviess Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
