Cecil was born on October 29th, 1911 in Tyler Co. Texas.1 Cecil's father is Bishop Barnes and his mother is Lucille Graham. His paternal grandfather is Andrew Madison Barnes and his paternal grandmother was Maggie Platt; his maternal grandfather was John Buchannan Graham and his maternal grandmother is Mary A. Couch. He had two brothers named Eldridge and Royce. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 66 in April 1978 in Tyler Co. Texas.1 General Notes
