Joshua Evans 
Joshua was born about 1735. Joshua's father was Philip Evans and his mother was Elizabeth Harry. His paternal grandparents were David ap Evan and Mary Jones. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Amos, John, Elizabeth, Ruth and Hannah. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died in April 1813 in ,Carmarvon Twp.,Lancaster Co,Pennsylvania.General Notes

pro Apr 27 1813 brother Amos Evans and sister Elizabeth Hodskins, and the
remainder of my land to Philip Evans my brother Amos' grandson. To his mother
Mary Scott the sum of fifty pounds in gold or silver money of pennsylvania.
James Hodgkins went back to Lancaster to claim the inheritance of Joshua Evans.
Suit filed against him in Brown Co, Ohio by his relatives because he did not
bring back all the money that was promised in the will.
