Matilda was born in 1072 in Huntington, Huntingdonshire, England.  Matilda's father was Waltheof II Earl Of Huntingdon Northumberland and her mother was Judith Of Lens.  Her paternal grandfather was Siward Biornsson Northumberland and her paternal grandmother is Aelfled Elfleda Of Bernicia; her maternal grandparents were Lambert Of Boulogne and Adelaide Of Normandy. She had a sister named Alice.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother named Waldelf.  She died at the age of 59 on April 23rd, 1131 in Scotland.  She was buried in 1130 in Scone, Perthshire, Scotland.
