Ada was born about 1146 in Of Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, Scotland.  Ada's father was Henry Earl Of Huntingdon and her mother was Ada De Warenne.  Her paternal grandparents were David I The Saint Of Scotland and Matilda Huntingdon; her maternal grandparents were William De Warenne and Isabel Elizabeth De Vermandois. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William The Lion King Of, David Earl Of, Aufrica Of, Margaret De and Marjory Of.  She was the second youngest of the six children.
