Edith was born about 1072 in Greystoke, Cumberland, England.  Edith's father was Forne Fitzsigulf St Lord Of Greystoke and her mother was Alditha Nmn Fitzsigulf.  Her paternal grandparents were Sigulf Fitzforn and Mrs Sigulf Fitz Forne.  She was an only child.  She died in 1152 in Granted Barony Of Claydon By Henry I.  She was buried in Endowed Oseney Abbey.
