Lowell Mart Witten, age 89, of Clarkson died on Friday, January 30, 2004 at his residence.
He was born February 27, 1914. He was a member of Wilhelm Masonic Lodge of Clarkson and a member of Rock Creek Methodist Church. He was retired from the Highway Transportation Department.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Witten of Clarkson; his son, Darrell Witten of Clarkson; five grandchildren, Dana Mann of Clarksville, Tenn., Kendra Hatfield, Doug and Jessica Witten, all of Clarkson, and Jeff Irvine. Also surviving are two great-granddaughters, Caitlin Irvine and Emily Mann.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Oza and Ida Meredith Witten.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Rock Creek Methodist Church with Bro. Charlie Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
