Santford Terhune Clark

Santford Terhune was born on August 3rd, 1819 in Mt. Carmel, Fleming, Kentucky, USA.¹   Santford Terhune's father was John Blair Clark and his mother was Martha Terhune.  His paternal grandparents are John Owen Clark and Mary Blair; his maternal grandparents were Albert Terhune and Nancy Carter. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Albert Houston, James B., John Fletcher, William Thomas, Mary Ann and Susan D..  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had two half-sisters named Matilda and Marinda.  He died at the age of 50 on October 16th, 1869 in Russellville, Putnam, Indiana, USA.²
