John Fletcher Clark

John Fletcher was born on February 25th, 1826 in Mt. Carmel, Fleming, Kentucky, USA.¹   John Fletcher's father was John Blair Clark and his mother was Martha Terhune.  His paternal grandparents are John Owen Clark and Mary Blair; his maternal grandparents were Albert Terhune and Nancy Carter. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Santford Terhune, Albert Houston, James B., William Thomas, Mary Ann and Susan D..  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had two half-sisters named Matilda and Marinda.  He died at the age of 32 on October 19th, 1858.¹
