James H was born on October 25th, 1835 in , Hardin, Kentucky, USA.1 James H's father was Sylvester Boarman and his mother was Ann Cecelia Or Sealy Hagan. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Or James Boarman and Catherine Edelen; his maternal grandparents were Robert F. Hagan and Christina Dyer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Francis C., Ambrose, Mary Catherine, Sarah Ellen and Josephine. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Susan Elizabeth. He died at the age of 76 on January 17th, 1912 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, USA. He was buried on January 19th, 1912 in St. Louis Cemetery.1 2 -
