FLORA "ADKINS" MAYNARD, 101, of Kenova, W.Va., died Monday, November 3, 2003, at Wayne Continuous Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, W.Va., with Bishop Paul R. Farley, Bishop Greg Tomlinson and Bishop David Callicoat officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova. She was born October 20, 1902, in Dunlow, W.Va., a daughter of the late Millard and Susan Smith Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Maynard; five sisters; three brothers; and one son. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Marie Robinson of Kenova, W.Va., and Freda Mae and John Young of Chesapeake, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Dallas G. and Janet Maynard of Kenova, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova.
Flora and James Marion were married. They had a son and two daughters, named Dallas G., Freda Mae and Marie.
