DELPHIA ADKINS DEAN, 85, of Wayne, W.Va., died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, W.Va. with the Rev. Roger Branham officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born November 27, 1917, in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Millard and Suzanne Smith Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jason Dean; four sisters, Bertha Finley, Bessie Salmons, Gladys Queen and Sadie Adkins; three brothers, Basil, Herbert and Curtis Adkins. She is survived by one sister, Flora Maynard of Wayne, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2003, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova.
