Johnstown Tribune, July 12, 1902
Mrs. Sarah B. Stiffler, wife of Joseph W. Stiffler, died at her home in West Taylor Township, Thursday morning about 8 o'clock. She was preparing to do the washing and became suddenly ill and died within a few minutes, of diabetes. She was fifty-seven years old.
The deceased is survived by one son Harvey M. of West Taylor, and one daughter Emma wife of George F. Adams, of West Taylor, and the following brothers and sisters: Isaac Hudson, of Indiana County; Elmer, of Indiana County; Mrs. Paul, of Morrellville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Boring, of Indiana County
